Dangerous Love

He pulled me out of my house,

Taking me away from my other friends.

He gently put his hands around me

Turning me around wondering how I always change his mood to an endless dream.

As his lips came closer, I knew it was the beginning of my end.

Everyone knew that my addict was any girl's dream in this town.

But me, myself and I was sure that they also wished their lips would be where I was.

***

We were introduced to each other by his friends.

I knew he loved me since then,

But I turned to be his addiction.

I warned him from the beginning that I can cause damage,

That in the end both of us will be ' as we never existed '.

***

With every kiss I got, my reek tang conquered his heart.

He took over my body as he held me closer.

It was my last moments as he took the last slight breeze of my scent.

My dreaming seconds left him hallucinated.

***

He wanted me only for a first time experience, not a life time.

If he only had read the signs clearly,

He would know experiencing me doesn't worth it.

I'll keep advising my addict, but until I die it is his decision.

***

We had our last kiss,

As I, the cigarette, burned into ashes.

Blindfold

I wish

I could go through life

Blindfolded

So I wouldnt compete with others

But run my own race instead

Just like horses

And so I could be oblivious

To all the hatred, greed, and suffering

Around me

So whenever I took the blindfold off

Reality would be pleasant

Like a surprise party

Paint Me.. I'm a Writer

words are meant to paint a picture. writing in all its forms releases emotions, cures the soul, and helps others. "Paint Me Like I Am" will hopefully be a haven for Kuwaiti writers, those who are courageous enough to send in their thoughts for us to share and others to read no matter how long, short, grammatically incorrect they think it is they can submit their work anonymously, with initials or full name if they want. Be fearless, grab a pen, share your thoughts and what you're going through you'll be surprised how they might relate to others. Paint yourself as wildly and colofully as you'd like let paper be your canvas.

p.s: we accept poetry, rants, and confessions we'll publish what you send with no judgments.
